Atos is listed on the CAC40 Paris stock index. The Solution Architect supports the Solution teams by providing technical solutioning, scope, activation, and costing. This person’s charter is to support the pre-sales process, working closely with the Solution Team to ensure ATOS is providing the best, most cost-effective solution for the customer. From a post-sales support role, this person will ensure the solution designed can be successfully activated. This position will represent our best thinking related to their area of expertise. They will maintain the costing model inputs into finance, while providing expertise to solution customized deals in their areas of expertise. This position owns base-lining activation costing for area of expertise. Key Qualifications and Experience: BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related area of study 10 years of IT experience preferred 10 years demonstrated experience with the design, implementation or support of cloud technologies and hybrid solutions across multiple global locations utilizing Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows Azure, Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud. Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows Azure, or Amazon Web Services certification preferred Minimum 6 months of experience in architecting large-scale data solutions, performing architectural assessments, crafting architectural options and analysis, finalizing preferred solution alternative working with IT and Business stakeholders Minimum 6 months of architecting and operating large production Hadoop/NoSQL clusters on premise or using Cloud services Designing operations architecture and conducting performance engineering for large scale data lakes a production environment Craft and lead client design workshops and provide trade-offs and recommendations towards building a solution Strong experience in enterprise network or storage & backup architecture a plus Mobile internationally to serve our global clients and work with our Consulting teams in London, Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Geneva, Madrid (50-100%) EU work permit is a must Base Location: Anywhere in Poland, likely to be close to a city with an international airport. Preferred Additional Skills: Minimum 6 months of designing, building and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of Azure data and analytics services in combination with custom solutions - Spark, Azure Data Lake, HDInsights, SQL DW, DocumentDB, Search, Elastic Pool etc. Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience analyzing, re-architecting and re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on Azure cloud using Azure/custom services Minimum 6 months of designing and building production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala etc. 6 months of hands-on experience designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on Azure using Azure native services or using custom approaches Minimum 6 months of architecting and implementing next generation data and analytics platforms on Azure cloud Minimum 6 months of designing and implementing data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on Azure cloud using Azure native or custom programming Minimum 6 months experience in performing detail assessments of current state data platforms and creating an appropriate transition path to Azure cloud Hands-on Azure experience with a minimum of 1 solutions designed and implemented at production scale 6 months of hands-on experience architecting and designing data lakes on Azure cloud, serving analytics and BI application integrations 6 months of experience in designing and optimizing data models on AZURE cloud using Azure data stores Minimum 6 months of experience integrating AZURE security services with AZURE data services for building secure data solutions Minimum 6 months of experience introducing and operationalizing self-service data preparation tools (e.g. Trifacta, Paxata) on AZURE Minimum 6 months architecting and implementing metadata management on Azure Architecting and implementing data governance and security for data platforms on Azure Proven communication skills (written and verbal) Complex or large deal bid experience on national or global basis Advanced certification in practice area Responsibilities: Work with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud Create detailed target state technical, security, data and operational architecture and design blueprints incorporating modern data technologies and cloud data services demonstrating modernization value proposition Lead detail technical assessments of current state of enterprise data and architect a path to transformation into a modern data powered enterprise Defining assumptions pertaining to design, steady state and activation costing Provide design, technical scope, project plans, activation plans, SOW, costing for both steady state and activation Be active in Executive briefings when requested by the Solution team. Provide standard proposal/SOW templates content for “standard” deals. They do not necessarily own modifying the template for the SOW/proposal Work with resource coordinator to identify/secure assignment of activation resources. Communications with regional PM on Solution design, scope, master project plan for activation, SOW, all related pricing assumptions documentation and identification of SME's who will be associated with the project Transition responsibility to help in the clarification of the scope of service with the Solution Director and Transition PM We Offer Working for the global organization that focuses heavily on its people development.
